MERRY AND BRIGHT HAS BEEN CANCELLED FOR THURSDAY DECEMBER THE 15th DUE TO INCLEMENT WEATHER. TICKETS WILL BE HONOURED ANY OTHER NIGHT OF THE FESTIVAL EXCEPT SATURDAY THE 17th. Just present your unused ticket to the volunteers at the gate any other drive-through night of the festival.
The Merry & Bright Festival features 1km of light displays created by local individuals, businesses, and organizations!
The drive-through festival of lights is a joint fundraiser for the Lindsay Agricultural Society, United Way for the City of Kawartha Lakes, BGC Kawarthas, Kawartha Food Source, Lindsay Lions Club, and Heritage Christian School.
In 2020, the Lindsay Agricultural Society hosted the Merry & Bright Festival for the first time, as a way to raise money for the partner organizations, all of whom missed the opportunity to fundraise at the 2020 LEX due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
We are excited to be hosting the Merry & Bright Festival again this year and look forward to presenting partner organizations with even more donations to support their important contributions to the community.
Visit Santa at his portable workshop again this year! Be sure to pause as you exit the Festival to give a wave, say hello, and take a peek at what he’s working on.
This ticket is good for one vehicle admission during the time window selected (Pro Tip: If you don’t want to wait in a line up, we recommend coming towards the end of the time window selected as most people come right at the start. For example, if you select a 6:00 to 6:29 time window, come at 6:20 to avoid the lineup.)
